Aline lives in the Sutherland Shire and loves being part of the community. Aline cares deeply about the educational, social, emotional, and developmental needs of students and as such works hard to conduct a thorough assessment and advocates on students’ behalf. She also works with families and teachers, helping them support children’s specific needs and to manage difficulties by working out a clear plan forward.

Aline has worked in several areas of psychology, including grief and addiction counselling for individuals and families.  She has also worked in paediatrics where she managed several fellow psychologists and intern psychologists.  For the past few years, Aline has been working in primary and high schools, providing psychometric assessments and counselling. She was working collaboratively with teachers and parents to better support students in the school environment.

 

This extensive experience has given Aline a unique understanding of the school system and enables her to make better informed recommendations that are suited in the classroom and school environment. Aline has a special interest in psychometric assessment having seen the positive impact a comprehensive and holistic assessment can have on a student who is struggling at school.
