We assess students for cognitive, academic, behavioural, emotional and social concerns. We use current tests/measures that are reliable and valid. Our assessment process is thorough, and our reports are individually tailored to an individual’s needs.

School Presentations

We offer professional development seminars for teachers and learning support staff looking to gain a more comprehensive understanding of psychometric assessments and the value it adds to teaching a child who is experiencing academic difficulties.

An explanation of the tests/questionnaires used are discussed, and how these tests guide understanding of academic difficulties and their use in diagnosing learning difficulties and disorders. Information is given on the most common difficulties that affect school aged students, and the impact these difficulties have on a student in the classroom.

These difficulties include language disorders, Specific Learning Disorders (reading, writing and maths), anxiety, depression and autism spectrum disorder. Also discussed are helpful strategies to manage the above-mentioned difficulties, in both the school and home setting.
